Receipt of government rights claims from the Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari mines grew by 150 percent
The head of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Industry, Mining and Trade Organization announced the receipt of 30 billion Rials of government rights claims from the province's mines last year and said: this amount enjoyed a growth of one hundred and fifty percent compared to 1397.
According to the International Exhibition of Iranian Stone, Sajjad Rostami added: In 1397, about twelve billion rials of government rights claims in the province's mines were realized.
He announced the actual extraction of four million eight hundred and twenty one thousand five hundred and thirty-five tons of minerals in the province last year and said: the production of the province's mines last year increased by 7% compared to 1397.
Rostami, referring to the activities of ninety mines in the province, stated: One thousand five hundred and ninety-two people are working in the active mines of the province.
According to the report, carcass stone, facade stone, silica, gypsum stone, refractory soil, decorative stones and cement raw materials are some of the minerals being extracted from the province's mines.
On average, about five million tons of minerals are extracted annually from the province's active mines.
Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari has ten cities and some of these cities have the capacity to produce mines.
