The export protection package will be finalized in two months
Chairman of the Trade Development Organization of Iran: With the support of the Program and Budget Organization, it is planned to finalize the export support package this year for another two months.
Hamid Zadboom, according to the International Exhibition of Iranian Stone, said in the meeting of the Export Development Working Group: "This year, the export incentive package, with a credit of about 600 billion Tomans, has been considered in this year's budget, while the amount is considered." Taken in the budget for last year, due to the prolongation of the signing of the support package, which was postponed to early February, it proceeded in such a way that exporters could not use these amounts.
The head of the Trade Development Organization of Iran added: "With the support of the Program and Budget Organization, this year, the support package and export incentives have been developed in the first quarter of this year and even a salary will be allocated to the Trade Development Organization of Iran."
He added: "This budget is supposed to be spent on export infrastructure this year. Accordingly, the National Development Fund, the Program and Budget Organization, the Ministry of Industry, the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Jihad for Agriculture have been responsible for developing the support package." The first meeting is scheduled to take place next week in the presence of the relevant agencies.
Zadboom said: "Considering the special conditions of this year, we will determine the problems of exports this year, and considering that certain borders are open for exports this year and in the shadow of the Corona outbreak, it is planned that the export infrastructure at the borders, ports." And important export production centers should be operational.
He said: "Currently, our three borders in Iraqi Kurdistan, although there is traffic, are open, while now that there is traffic on these borders due to the closure of other borders, it must provide cold storage and other export infrastructure there."
Referring to the consultation with Turkey to set up a joint export terminal in Iran to facilitate trade, the Deputy Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade said: "Of course, Turkey also wants this terminal to be located on the common border but in Turkey, which is consulting." We are in charge of determining this task, because the Bazargan border in Iran is also ready to launch this infrastructure.
He continued: "This year, the Ministry of Industry has defined five projects for the export field, in which all the institutions involved in this ministry are located; this is in the context that the Export Guarantee Fund of Iran, the National Carpet Center, each one project of These five projects are being led, and finally, three projects are in the hands of the Trade Development Organization of Iran.
