Head of Iran's Mining House: Today, the role of mines and mineral industries in the face of sanctions and its impact on the economy, especially in providing the required currency, is undeniable, but requires a strong oversight role of the government.

According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, "Mohammad Reza Bahraman" stated: "Currently, the issue of supplying second-hand mining machinery has nothing to do with sanctions, and the custodian of the mining sector should have an incentive and facilitating role without interfering in this regard."

He pointed out that the mines now, in line with the policy of production leaps, need to be funded by the trustee to streamline the import of machinery, and there is no question of financing, so preventing imports will harm this sector.

The head of Iran's Mining House reminded that the importer of mining machinery must pay 80 to 100 percent for the second-hand type, so that it can be imported, but improper management and lack of necessary knowledge prevents the necessary needs of the mining sector.

He stressed: "Today's question for mining activists is why the professionals are not trusted in the field of importing mining machinery, which will play a significant role in the prosperity of production and its mutation, and prevent the import of machinery by unnecessary intervention." They are needed.

Bahraman said: "The fact that unnecessary interference in the import of mining machinery will cause rents and abuses and will be the result of the implementation of incorrect methods that the activists of this sector do not approve of."

Published statistics show that the average amount of extraction from the country's mines is over four hundred million tons, and within the framework of the program of the Ministry of Industry and announced by the relevant minister in 1400, the extraction of six hundred million tons is expected.

Earlier, the Ministry of Industry announced that by the end of the Fifth Development Plan, it was expected to produce 5.7 million tons, but this did not materialize, despite a year of restoration.

The head of Iran's Mining House emphasized: "The roadmap of the mine has made a clear path for the development of this sector. If we carefully review all the topics and remove the obstacles, the necessary basis for the development and mutation of production will be provided."

Recalling the dissolution of the Ministry of Mines and Seizures in the second half of the 1970s, he said: "Today, the Deputy Minister of Mines and Mining Industries of the Ministry of Industry should be treated like a ministry, so that the problems of the sector can be addressed urgently."

Bahraman added: "The lack of the expected position for the Deputy Minister of Mines will encourage administrative bureaucracy and long-term consideration of issues in this sector and will fall far short of the planned goals and programs, and ultimately harm the national economy."

He noted: "The Sixth Development Plan has exceeded 50% of its time. If we expect to achieve the goals of the plan and the mining sector will play a leading role, while developing low-income and deprived areas, it will have the effect of investment growth and employment growth." Well, we need to deepen our support for this program.
