Mining innovation with the development of knowledge bases
Given that this year has been marked by a jump in production and, on the other hand, the country is facing a crisis over the outbreak of the coronavirus, the importance and role of startups in mining growth is even greater.
According to the International Exhibition of Iranian Stone, we need startups and knowledge-based companies to grow mines in various fields, including the use of modern machinery, development of processing, and so on. Aware of the world's current knowledge, these companies are abandoning traditional methods, moving to the depths of the earth and making difficult working conditions easier.
Given that this year has been marked by a jump in production and, on the other hand, the country is facing a crisis over the outbreak of the coronavirus, the importance and role of startups in mining growth is even greater. The growth of this group of companies and the help they can have in the growth of the mine is key in the current situation.
Growth depends on knowledge
Lotfali Bakhshi, a professor of economics, said that today's students have become very important: "Students are usually looking for new ways to make life easier." Due to the prevalence of corona, from now on, many of these companies will be provided with more opportunities to present their products and prove their ability to the community. "In the current situation, we have to pay more attention to technology and startups," he said.
The professor of economics pointed out that maintaining quarantine is very important in controlling the coronavirus, and continued: "It is good to stay at home, but on the other hand, at least economic activity should be done in the country." No matter how much we try to maintain quarantine, some sectors are forced to work so that there is no problem for the country's economy and security. For example, the security and law enforcement forces, municipal employees, livestock and mining activists are in this area, so any department that can provide services in this situation has taken a big step.
"Given that sectors such as mining need to continue to operate, they need to use modern technology and knowledge in order to comply with the required protocols," Bakhshi stressed. In the mining sector, if we use modern technology and value students more, we can benefit more from the economic activity of the mines by fighting the coronavirus and reducing physical activity.
He said all administrative activities in the mining sector should be done using telecommuting and automation systems. In practical activities, too, workers can have a safe distance from each other and continue to work. Of course, scientists can play a role in this, for example, to use less manpower in the underground sector or to produce a device that does the work of manpower.
Emphasizing that knowledge-based companies should upgrade their knowledge, the economics professor said: "The number of knowledge-based companies in Iran is high, but their performance should be better and more specific." Unfortunately, the miners have not seen much performance in the mining sector so far, and they are expected to move in this direction according to the country's needs.
Pointing to the limitations of government resources, Bakhshi said: "The government cannot provide cash assistance to all members of society, so if a group can work in this situation and turn the wheel of the economy, they have helped the government to reach the needy."
The importance of benefiting from knowledge
Seyed Reza Azimi, Executive Director of the Small Mines Rehabilitation, Activation and Development Project, said: "Students, by distancing themselves from traditional perspectives and technologies, lead to national wealth creation, job creation and ultimately the jump in production in the country's mines."
Regarding the importance of supporting start-ups and mining startups and programs in the new year, Azimi said: "This year, we are looking to develop mining in order to develop entrepreneurship and innovation in the mining sector, so we hope this year to connect non-mining industries to mining and mining." New marketing and job creation help start-ups grow.
The executive director of the Small Mines Rehabilitation, Activation and Development Plan said: "It is no secret that the activities of startups and knowledge-based groups focus on developing exploratory technologies, developing information-based platforms such as databases, networking platforms and human resource training, and maintaining innovative solutions." Environment, natural resources, etc. can help the mining sector grow.
He stressed: "By smartening the mining sector in various fields, we can help the growth of the economy."
He said that so far the students have performed poorly in some areas, adding that in the current situation where the outbreak of the coronavirus is spreading, the benefit of the students is key, but unfortunately these companies have not been very strong in the mining sector and have not yet been able to expand their position. Give.
"Advanced countries use science in all parts of the mine, for example, by computer programming, to monitor the situation of workers in the depths of the earth, but unfortunately we have not reached this knowledge and we have a lot of knowledge and technology," Azimi said. We are far away.
He stressed: "With the new methods, we can prevent the collapse of the mine and bad news in the field of mining, so we must be able to take advantage of this more."
