The jump in production is an objective concept that the mining sector and the mining industry will bring this year because it is due to the set of programs and actions that Imidro has taken in recent years with the participation of the private sector and in line with government and ministry policies. Industry, mining and trade.

Accelerating the implementation of development projects in the steel chain, copper, aluminum, lead and zinc, gold, etc. on the one hand, and the gradual entry of new projects into the production circuit, is a clear reason for this. This year, in coordination with the private sector, Imidro plans to launch a new $ 2.3 billion development plan. These projects create 8,300 direct jobs and 60,000 indirect jobs, bringing the total to more than 70,000 directly and indirectly. Another dimension of these plans is that our country will benefit from the increase in production of this sector.

In order to achieve its development goals, the organization has already set up a working group to monitor the implementation of projects that continuously monitor, review and resolve critical points in the areas of production and development. With this experience, we plan to create a working group this year with the presence of representatives of all major companies to make a leap in the production of the mining sector and the mining industry and remove its barriers.

In the last months of last year, something happened that made the production leap more tangible. One of the most obvious examples is the production of the largest and most modern aluminum plant in Iran, called Southern Aluminum (SALCO), which alone is one hundred. Percentage increases the production capacity of this metal in the country.

In addition, the new year is the time to achieve the "steelmaking" part of the provincial steel projects. On the other hand, Sangan, as the capital of Iran's iron ore, which has the title of Assaluyeh in the east of the country, will host new factories producing iron ore concentrate and pellets. Meanwhile, the selection of two contractors (A and B) for the purpose of waste disposal and extraction of minerals, for five years, provides feed for active and under-operating plants. The Sangan Mining Complex, which is achieving the goal of seventeen and a half million tons of concentrate and fifteen million tons of iron ore pellets, has now created a tangible reality in order to achieve a production leap for observers and mining activists.

Fortunately, the entry of Mobarakeh Steel's five-million-ton concentrate into Sangan and two and a half million-ton Khuzestan Steel pellets into Sangan could bring an important part of the production jump in the steel sector.

On the other hand, because the management team of Imidro has been pursuing development in the form of a new strategy in recent years, it has paid so much attention to the other components of this body that it is pursuing development in the position of the organization leading the mining and mineral industries. And it has defined the support of private companies, the increase in capital and the direction of the accumulated profits of large enterprises in the same direction, the results of which are now being revealed.

Also in the last weeks of last year, Mobarakeh Steel and the National Copper Industries Co. achieved capital increases, and Gol Gohar is on the same path, but due to problems caused by the Corona virus, it has postponed the capital increase to the near future. And then there's another big iron ore company (Chadormelo).

This program (capital increase) will in fact guarantee the growth and mutation of production in the steel chain, and at the same time, the guidance of thousands of billions of tomans from the accumulated profits of large companies to development will lead to the peak of project implementation. The program that Imidro has been pursuing for the last two years has always had an impact on accelerating development projects.

Of course, it should be emphasized that the base of activity of mining and mining industries is exploration, so during the past year and a half, four hundred thousand square kilometers have been added to the activities of this sector, which is the most unprecedented exploration activity in the country's mineral history. Is. The result of these discoveries has so far been the discovery of seven hundred and sixty promising ranges, for which two hundred and eighty ranges have been requested. These discoveries will introduce new mines to the country, which will certainly play a key role in the leap of production.

This year, as in the previous year, Imidro is implementing a project to revitalize the stagnant mines of the private sector with a larger program, which is a step towards providing this feed and a leap in production in the mining and mineral industries. One hundred and forty-six mines were rehabilitated last year, some of which have entered the production circuit, and we plan to rehabilitate two hundred mines for the new year, and it is predicted that with the full activation of these mines, 3,000 jobs will be created annually. This sector will be created and a significant part of the feed of the processing plants will be supplied from these mines.

Meanwhile, the re-increase of the capital of the Mining Investment Insurance Fund (reaching the figure of five hundred billion tomans) is one of the components of this development program that pursues the goal of production mutation. It should be noted that last year the capital of this IMIDRO subsidiary fund had increased from one hundred and ten billion to three hundred and fifty billion tomans, and this figure will be five hundred billion tomans for the coming year.

To these must be added the plan to increase steel production capacity to ten million tons in the Persian Gulf Special Zone. Part of this program has been implemented and produced so far, and the other part will be implemented with the participation of companies located in the region. Also, a similar program is being implemented on the easternmost coast of the country, Chabahar, so that the Makran coast will host the implementation of ten million tons of steel. Fortunately, with Imidro's follow-up, the issue of energy supply has been approved by the higher authorities, and the Supreme Council of Free Zones is working closely with the organization to implement the above program.

It should be noted that the share of foreign exchange in the mining sector and mining industries, which while growing double-digit exports in the first eleven months of last year, has an increasing share of total exports and today plays a special role in non-oil exports. .

The above achievements have been achieved in the context of the country's economy, which has been subjected to repeated and complex sanctions by the US government, but the capabilities of this sector, along with the leadership of Imidro and the support of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade, especially the Central Bank, have broken. Sanctions have become a barrier to the country's currency appreciation.

In fact, the growth of production, exports, currency appreciation, exploration, implementation of development plans and the macro-governance that governs it, will all promise a boom in the kind of leap in production for this area of ​​the economy that will be more fruitful this year.
