Laying the groundwork for a booming export guarantees a jump in production
Head of Iran's Mining House: Today, the conditions of the country and the situation of the oil market have revealed the need for non-oil exports, and planning for its development guarantees the leap of production.
According to the International Exhibition of Iranian Stone, "Mohammad Reza Bahraman" noted: According to the customs statistics of the Islamic Republic of Iran, last year forty-one billion dollars of exports were obtained for the export of one hundred and thirty-three million and nine hundred thousand tons of non-oil goods. But the capability of our country is much higher than these figures.
He added: "Iran has been under the influence of oppressive sanctions for about four decades and this has intensified in recent years, but with this situation last year we saw a thirteen percent increase in exports and if in the mining and mineral industries, the relevant trustee O planned to guarantee export development, some markets were not lost.
Bahraman reminded: "Customs statistics show that the amount of export value decreased by 7% last year compared to 1397, and in the mining and mineral industries sector, if the wrong policy had not been done, we would not have strayed from the goal."
He stressed: "Without a thorough and complete approach to this sector, which can play a role in the current difficult situation instead of oil, we cannot move in the direction of the planned goals."
The head of the Mining House believes that the study of the issue of sanctions shows that this issue has been objectified in the context of different contexts, and part of the capacity of the mining sector was hit by a wrong decision of 100%.
He reminded: "According to customs statistics, last year the average value of each ton of imported goods was 1,220 dollars, but the average value of each ton of our exported goods is three hundred and nine dollars."
Bahraman added: "Last year, although the organizations provided sufficient information in their area of operation and the problems facing the field of production and export to the representatives of the three forces (legislature, judiciary and executive) in the form of Article 12 Committee, but realistic decisions. Failed.
According to him, if the committee had done well to investigate the issue of export duties, all mineral complexes, including lead and zinc, chromite and decorative stones, should not have been subject to export duties.
The head of Iran's Mining House noted: "Professionals believe that instead of paving the way for a boom in exports in the current difficult situation, we have easily locked in on export policies with macro-policies."
He added: "Evaluation of mining activists that the government's economic team did not believe in boosting exports as a principle, and with the blow we inflicted on the country's exports by imposing tariffs on minerals, it is very costly to return to the previous conditions."
The statistics of 1397 showed that more than nine billion dollars of goods were exported in the mining and mineral industries, and it is not expected that last year's performance was achieved last year.
Bahraman emphasized: "Export development policy in the mining and mineral industries sector should have been implemented comprehensively, not focused on steel, and even its chain should not be considered, and in the steel sector, we valued ingots, and this is realistic." He did not follow.
