Director General of the Office of Mining Supervision of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade: Today, every inquiry obtained from natural resources is agreed upon in hectares. Natural resources only agree with the 10-hectare border, which calls into question the principle of exploration, while mining law allows miners to advance up to 250 kilometers to explore, so when only a small area agrees. It is possible that a person cannot have a complete exploration.

According to the International Exhibition of Iranian Stone, there are many minerals in the depths of the earth, but unfortunately we have not been able to have the necessary investment to explore it. The average depth of exploration in our country is 100 meters, while in developed countries it is up to five thousand meters.

Exploration should be done by large, capable companies that are financially capable and can do this in a principled way and use scientific methods, while the majority of exploration applicants in the country are the private sector and cannot afford the financial problem. Use the right methods.

The private sector is looking to make a quick profit, so in areas with mineral resources, they make surface explorations and then discover the end of the report, get a license, and finally apply for additional exploration, while this is not consistent with the exploration debate. It is not in the interest of the growth of exploration in the country.

Of course, this exploration model is in question, and every miner who gets a exploration license is trying to do his job in a principled way.

Another problem in the field of exploration in the country is the limited scope given to applicants. Today, every inquiry obtained from natural resources is agreed upon per hectare. Natural resources only agree with the 10-hectare border, which calls into question the principle of exploration, while mining law allows miners to advance up to 250 kilometers to explore, so when only a small area agrees. It is possible that a person cannot have a complete exploration.
