Submission of two hundred and eighty articles to Iranian Mining Engineering Conference
Assistant Professor of Birjand University Mining Engineering Department: Two hundred and eighty articles have been submitted to the Secretariat of the 8th Iranian Mining Engineering Conference at Birjand University.
Ahmad Arayafar said that the conference will be held for the first time in South Khorasan. The 8th Iranian Mining Engineering Conference, hosted by Birjand University, will be held from February 30 to March 1 this year.
He said: Given that South Khorasan is the sixth mineral province of the country and more than forty-eight types of minerals identified in the province we have tried to introduce the province's mineral capacities further by hosting this national event.
He noted that familiarizing the private sector with new scientific findings and the link between industry and university is another goal of the national conference hosted by South Khorasan and Birjand University.
The scientific secretary of the 8th Iranian Mining Engineering Conference said: "A very strong scientific committee has been formed for this conference and twenty-one university executives are involved."
Referring to the presence of seventy-five faculty members on the scientific committee of the conference, he added: The deadline for submitting an article to this conference was July 15th to December 15th.
Arayafar announced a two-and-a-half-fold increase in the number of papers submitted to the conference over the previous period, saying that this high participation is significant for introducing the province.
He said: Of the received articles on mineral processing, sixty-five mining exploration, sixty stone extraction and economics, twenty-eight on rock mechanics, and twenty-five on environmental and mining safety. Is.
The eighth Iranian conference on mining engineering referred to the various stages of reviewing these articles, and said, "Forty-five papers will be presented for poster and two hundred and fourteen papers in poster form."
Referring to the role of one hundred referees in the selection of the top papers, he said: "Two hundred and seventy people have signed up to participate in the conference, twenty of whom are managers of Iran's mineral production company, Imidar consultants and faculty members.
"The three keynote speakers at this conference will be the director of Iran's mineral production, the director of production and production of refractory materials, and a pioneer of the province's mines," Arayafar said.
He stated that thirty-five percent of the papers presented are related to the data of South Khorasan province.
The 8th Iranian Mining Engineering Conference continued: The workshop and exhibition will be another part of the two-day conference in South Khorasan province.
