The international value chains are formed between economic zones and reach consumer markets through agreements, according to the International Stone Exhibition of Iran, Mohammad Ali Dehghan Dehnavi today at a conference on Special Free Zones and the development of economic cooperation with neighboring countries and Eurasia. Multilateral treaties have been in place for many years, and have been the biggest change since the Revolution with the Eurasia Agreement, which has been formed with the Eurasian Union in the form of preferential free trade, one of the advantages of which is to reduce some of the tariffs on the common market. There will be labor and capital transfers between the union, and the factors of production will provide sufficient mobility between countries in the region. Also within the Customs Union, the tariffs for some goods will be eliminated, along with the privileged shared tariffs.
The Deputy Minister of Economy pointed to the economic statistics of the Eurasian Union and said that the union accounts for three percent of the world's GDP and has good advantages in the oil, economic and commercial sectors and is a good opportunity for the development of the common market.
He added: One of the benefits of trade with the Eurasian Union is reducing the cost of shipping the goods. Seventy percent of the world's trade is in the form of unions. Now with fifteen neighboring countries, only two percent of their needs are met through our country. The union has a population of 808 million, which is a good market for Iranian goods.
Farmer Dehnavi said that labor and employment mobility, trade and investment would be enhanced by the joint cooperation between Iran and the Eurasian Union. One of the advantages of a competitive market is the production of a competitive product that can be practiced for us.
