The private sector's reluctance to revive small mines
The private sector has not taken action in spite of its readiness to support these mines. Probably because at the very beginning of the work of the government and Imidro tried to enter into this arena and inject this worthy move to the state, the same slowness and idleness, and to present it in their record as a brilliant performance.
According to the International Stone Exhibition of Iran, in May this year, the proposal was made by the Iranian Mines House and the Mines Committee of the Chamber of Commerce to revitalize small and medium-sized mines, and the first conference was held in August with the support of large mining and mining companies. Mining industries, problems of inactive small and medium-sized mines are reviewed and restarted.
In the meantime, Imidro's mineral-based production and production company implemented the plan, and mining associations announced their readiness to join. However, the mining companies have not yet described their actions in this regard and have not reported to the media. However, large corporations have initially claimed that the status of small and medium-sized mines has been a concern for their companies for years.
The private sector has not taken action in spite of its readiness to support these mines. Probably because at the very beginning of the work of the government and Imidro tried to enter into this arena and inject this worthy move to the state, the same slowness and idleness, and to present it in their record as a brilliant performance.
This was the point before the resuscitation movement was questioned by the real and small private sector, and at the same conference the revitalization of the small and medium-sized mines was considered another shock to the public sector. Given the country's specific circumstances, the mining sector's status as economic leader has been more prominent than ever before and was expected to stimulate the economy, with small and medium-sized mines offering the advantage of creating and distributing employment, prosperity and wealth among the general public and less favored areas. And it has the deprived, get more attention.
Mining statistics in the world say ninety-eight percent of the country's small and medium-sized mines are privately owned and account for eighty-five percent of employment and sixty-five percent of production in the mining sector. Iran too can seize this opportunity effectively and favorably. While it should not be forgotten that good efforts have been made in this area, gaining the trust of the private sector is a wealth that is not easy to obtain.
