Head of West Azerbaijan Industry, Mine and Trade Organization: Six billion riyals were paid from state-owned rights to Takab gold mines.

According to Iran's International Stone Exhibition, Gholamreza Babaei said: This amount is credited from last year's revenue for implementing infrastructure projects such as water supply, electricity and access roads to mines and neighboring villages.

He added that from the state mining rights revenues over the past two years, one billion and seven hundred million riyals were spent on electricity projects to the villages of "Yolghoun Agaj" and "Dorbash" Takab.

He said: In the same year, the village was paid more than nineteen billion riyals for providing access to the villages of Yolghoun Aghaj, Babanazar and Armor.

The head of the West Azerbaijan Industry, Mining and Trade Organization said that the province's share of state revenues this year has not yet been communicated to the province and as soon as it receives a notification from the Ministry of Industry, Mining and Commerce, the city's share will be allocated.

According to the report, Takab is a mountainous town in southwestern Azerbaijan and is one of the main poles in the country due to its two large gold mines and thirty stone mines, and now more than two thousand people in the mining and mining industries of the city, including three.
