The puzzle of equality of privacy and protection in the mine
Imidro Exploration Manager: Anyone working on a zone should not own more than 200 kilometers, and the rest of the area should be handed over to the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Commerce.
According to the International Stone Exhibition of Iran, some mining experts believe there is a lease on mining, which limits the access of private sector companies in exploration and mining in the choice of mining areas to governments and corporations. And the same conditions in society are not available to mining activists.
While the private sector is complaining about the lease on exploration zones, government officials say this is not the case and the situation is the same for all mine activists.
Delivering zones, by law
Ali Asgharzadeh, director of exploration at Imidro Babian who can get zones by law, said the government is bidding for zones in accordance with thirty-two mining regulations, and various companies, including the public and private sectors, can bid for them. It is not to say that the person receiving the zone receives a special privilege or the government only pays attention to the public sector.
Imidro's exploration director pointed out that any mining site that has a license under Article Thirty-two, that is, zoning, would be subject to many restrictions. You may get a zone and you will incur a lot of expenses, but nothing will be worth the billions. So getting a zone is very risky and there is no guarantee that minerals will be found in the zones. If a substance is found, one cannot easily obtain a license because there are many problems right from the beginning.
Asgharzadeh Babian stated the problems that people are faced with from the outset: Conflicts, the Environment, Natural Resources, Water and Cultural Heritage are among the issues that a miner must face. Sometimes there are people in that area who have the right of exploitation, exploration or exploration licenses. Sometimes local antagonists declare their land based on their age and no one has the right to work on it. So the licensee of the site faces many restrictions.
Imidro's director of exploration on other restrictions the government is considering for the zones said that anyone working on a zone should not own more than two hundred and fifty kilometers and should give the rest of the area to the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Commerce. Be able to delegate to other departments through auctions and invitations through the provincial industry, mining and trade organization.
Asgharzadeh emphasized: In view of what has been said above, it seems that the legislator or the person who has drafted the zoning directive has been aware of such protests and the likelihood of a problem from the outset and has placed several restrictions on this permit.
