Governor of Kurdistan: In order to create sustainable employment capacities, the province's mines must be supported by more trustees.
According to Iran's International Stone Exhibition, Kurdistan Governor Bahman Moradnia said: "In the last few years, there has been a lot of effort to accelerate the development of Kurdistan. If these programs are implemented, we will certainly see the growth and prosperity of the province.
He said that mining can play an important and influential role in producing raw materials and supplying the required materials to the province, adding: Given the need for sustainable employment growth in the province, the mining sector will certainly provide a large number of job seekers. he does.
The governor of Kurdistan added: "The requests and cases filed by the mining sector to the council should be properly investigated and some inactive mines in the province capable of reactivation should be provided as well."
Mordania noted: Supporting mining and assisting the start-up of conversion industries with the goal of creating added value for minerals in the province could accelerate the province's economic prosperity.
Mineral diversity of Kurdistan province includes eighteen types of metallic, non-metallic, important building materials including gold, iron, manganese, lead and zinc, barite, silica, feldspar, decorative stones (marble). , Marble, granite and travertine), poke, pozzolan, limestone and carcass.
Sariguni Gold and Marble Mines are among the most successful mines in the province and have a total employment capacity of 2,000 mines.
