A member of the Tehran Chamber of Commerce said that the sanctions could not prevent the export of building materials, saying: "The building industry does not need to import building stones.

According to Iran Stone International Exhibition, Mehdi Kasaifar on the sidelines of the construction industry conference told reporters that despite sanctions we have been able to penetrate the international market for export of engineering services and building materials, said: Iran's main markets for building materials Specifically, the Qatar stone types are Turkey, India and China.

In response to a question about whether the stone is still imported for use in the building industry, he said: "The stone used in the building industry is very diverse and not all types exist in our country. It is natural to respond to this variety of stone imports. But we definitely do not need to import stone for housing construction and the building industry, and for the past two years either stone has not been imported to Iran or the volume of imports has been very limited, the industry has not faced any problems.

A member of the Chamber of Commerce, in response to another question about the reason for continuing crude exports, citing leadership and other officials on the prohibition on crude, said: "The 25% tariff set for exporting raw materials has somewhat reduced exports but the problem is that That is, there is basically no factory where we want to add value for the extracted stones and then export.

Kasaifarf emphasized that the 25% tariff on raw materials exports was overnight without any prior notice, which greatly affected the long-term contracts of Iranian companies with foreign partners.

Referring to the foreign exchange earnings of stone export from our country's mines, he said: "We only have a five million dollar revenue from exporting ore, which can be increased to $ 10 million by creating additional currency and exporting it."
