Two billion dollars to support exports
The Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade and Directorate General of Iran Trade Development Organization announced allocation of 2 trillion tomans from National Development Fund resources for granting capital facilities for production-export units.
According to the International Stone Exhibition of Iran, Hamid Zadbom stated at a meeting of exporters, which was attended by the Deputy Minister of Industry, Mining and Commerce in the Ministry of Commerce, that: Is to allocate 2 trillion USD of its resources through the signing of an operating agreement with operating banks as a working capital facility and at a preferential rate to exporters, of which USD 500 billion by the Export Development Bank of Iran and the rest by other banks. It will be available to the exporters community.
He added that the rate of these facilities is the average interest rate on National Development Fund resources and the rate approved by the Monetary and Credit Council and the facilities paid to exporters comprise 50% of National Development Fund resources and 50% of banking resources.
It is worth mentioning that the meeting of exporters with problems was attended by representatives of Iran Trade Development Organization, Central Bank, Iran Export Development Bank, Islamic Republic of Iran Customs, Tax Affairs Organization, Iranian Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture, several export and technical organizations. Provincial industry, mining and trade organizations were held.
