The 15th Pakistan International Construction Industry Exhibition kicked off on Saturday with the participation of ten companies from the Islamic Republic of Iran in the port city of Karachi, Pakistan's economic hub in the south.

According to Iran's International Stone Exhibition, the exhibition was inaugurated by Pakistani Minister of Communications Khaled Maqbool Siddiqui and was visited by some state officials on the first day of the opening ceremony. The ceremony was attended by Iran's Consul General Ahmad Mohammadi in Karachi and Murad Nemati Zargaran, the head of the Iranian delegation and former Iranian Trade Advisor in Pakistan.

In this international exhibition, 500 domestic and foreign companies including companies from seven countries, especially ten Iranian companies showcase their latest capabilities in the field of construction industry, machinery related to construction, design and architecture of building materials production. In addition to the Islamic Republic of Iran there are companies from Germany, Thailand, China, Turkey and Pakistan at the 15th International Exhibition of Construction Industry in Pakistan.

The exhibitors exhibit their capabilities in an area of ​​8,000 square meters for three days.

Given that Pakistan is Iran's eighth export partner and construction materials, especially ceramics, are among the most important export items in our country, the presence of Iranian companies could provide new opportunities to attract the market and boost the country's exports.

Also in this exhibition, Pavilion with an area of ​​one hundred and twenty-three square meters is dedicated to the Islamic Republic of Iran and our country craftsmen for the first time attend the International Exhibition of Building Industry of Pakistan.

Iranian representatives in ceramic tile, steel and cement are participating in the exhibition.

The International Building Industry Exhibition is the most comprehensive international construction exhibition and conference in the country and exhibitors showcase the latest technologies in equipment, materials, services and techniques.

The exhibition is an excellent opportunity to engage Iranian entrepreneurs and economic activists with Pakistani economic activists in terms of joint venture, technology transfer, and representation.
