The National Housing Plan is not implemented in metropolises
A member of the Majlis Civil Commission, referring to the lack of implementation of the national housing plan in metropolises, said that mass production of housing in Tehran is not appropriate.
According to Iran's International Stone Exhibition, Alim Yarmohammadi, referring to the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development's plan not to implement the national housing project in the metropolis, stated: Metropolis, especially Tehran, do not have the capacity to inject new population and today the capital is completely saturated In this situation, mass housing production is not appropriate, as this approach will increase migration to Tehran.
He said the government and the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development should focus on crowding into new cities around metropolises, including Tehran, where satellite cities could be good capacities to attract new populations.
According to him, one of the most important issues in the development of new cities is the development of infrastructure in these areas and the linkages between the new cities and the metropolises, so the government should also provide the necessary infrastructure to develop these areas. Slow.
