Identify investment opportunities in Hormozgan Mines

Hormozgan Governor during a recent meeting of the High Council of Mines with the Provincial Mines Council said: "Hormozgan has a great potential in the field of mines and investment opportunities in this area should be further identified and introduced.

Fereydoon Hemmati said: "In order to promote production and employment, there should be widespread exploitation of mines in Hormozgan province."

He called for more mines to be given to the provinces, adding that realizing this would increase the pace of work and achieve the goal of boosting production and employment.

Hormozgan Governor stated: The High Council of Mines should be the supervisor and policy maker in this field and the executive affairs should be carried out by the provinces.

In another part of his talk, he said one of the most important needs in the field of mining is the processing of minerals and products, and said: "We need to plan better in this direction and see more value creation in this sector."

"We are opposed to the crude sale of minerals, and we must take strong steps to provide miners and companies with the right products to process their products," he said.

Increasing the share of mining sector in economic and social development of Hormozgan

According to the head of Hormozgan Industry, Mining and Trade Organization, the organization is obliged by law to provide conditions for development of mining activities, create employment in this sector and increase the share of mining sector in economic and social development of the province.

Khalil Qasemi said: In this regard, projects and investments in the field of Hormozgan mines are also supported.

Pointing to some opposition to the development of mining activities, he added: "Mining licenses are issued after obtaining legal licenses from related agencies."

Qasemi stated: The legislator in Article Twenty-four Mining Laws specified that the authorities in question are also bound by the executive agencies. Twenty-one problematic mineral unit records were assigned to Hormozgan

In the last days, during a joint meeting of the Supreme Council of Mines of the country with the Hormozgan Mines Council, it was decided on twenty-one problematic mineral files and licenses to extract minerals from different parts of the province.

The deputy minister of mines of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade said: "In order to strengthen the miners' ability in the areas of Bashashard and Koushah Ahmadi, we have put the actual extraction of mines in these areas as a criterion for receiving government salaries."

Jafar Sarkhini added: "It was decided at the meeting to solve the problems of miners who have difficulty paying warehousing costs to the Ports and Maritime Organization.

21% increase in mineral extraction in Hormozgan

Six million four hundred and twenty-six tons of minerals were extracted from the Hormozgan mines in the first half of this year, an increase of 21 percent compared to last year.

Minerals and Minerals Deputy Director of Hormozgan Industry, Mining and Trade Organization said: The extracted minerals are iron ore, carcass, gypsum, chromite, limestone and decorative rocks.

Ibrahim Saadini added: These minerals were extracted from two hundred and forty three mines in Hormozgan.

Mohammad Moghimi told reporters: Although most of the mines in Hormozgan are small and medium scale, they are having difficulties in supplying heavy machinery.

He said: Supplying, maintaining and maintaining heavy machinery is the biggest challenge now in Hormozgan province mines.

"Miners are now faced with the challenge of paying costs, in addition to challenging the cost of mining machinery," he said, adding that these costs have to be paid in cash.

Moghimi also cited the fluctuations in foreign exchange prices and market inflammation that had a profound impact on the country's mines and minerals.

The head of the Hormozgan Province Mining Engineering Organization said the decline in housing construction had a direct impact on the mines and mining industries, and the market has slowed some mines, such as sand mines.

He said: Mining units are currently unable to keep up with their development plans due to existing problems.

Hormozgan authorities need to support mines

Moghimi reiterated: the unprecedented increase in port costs, the multiplier increase in shipping costs, the lack of infrastructure needed to export minerals, resulting in increased prices and reduced competitiveness in the international market, lack of liquidity and financial capability. Due to rising costs and lack of support from banks and financial institutions, producers are facing fluctuations in foreign exchange prices and market irritation, including problems for the province's mines to export.

Referring to the importance of mining activities, Moghimi said: "In terms of value added, the mining sector has more advantages than the commercial, housing and many industries."

Identification of 14 New Mineral Exploration Areas in Hormozgan

Hormozgan Governor said 14 new mining areas have been identified in the provinces of Haji Abad and Basharagar.

At the Hormozgan Mines Council meeting, Fereydoon Hemmati announced: "Studies on the mineral zone in the area of ​​Kusha Ahmadi Haji Abad and Basharagar have been carried out by the Iranian Mines and Minerals Renovation and Development Organization (Imidro).

According to him, there are eleven areas in Kosha Ahmadi area of ​​Haji Abad city and three areas for exploration of mines in Bashaagr city.

He continued: In the next phase, necessary measures will be taken for exploration of minerals in these fourteen areas to determine the exact volume and quantity of minerals and mines in these areas.

Hormozgan Governor added: Mining studies are also carried out in the eleven kilometers from Bandar Abbas to Basharagar to identify new mineral zones and areas in the province.

According to Hemati, the move to explore the mineral zones in Ormozgan should be taken quickly so that new mines can be activated as soon as possible to create employment and increase production.

Necessity of implementing mineral zone plans in Hormozgan
