How was the stone garden built in Sirjan?
Sirjan stone garden depicts an old man horticulturist planting fruit trees.
According to the International Stone Exhibition of Iran, the Sirjan rock garden was produced by Darvish Khan Esfandiari, a Sirjan landowner who lost much of his land in the year 1340 after implementing the land reform plan.
Darvish Khan went to the mountains and plains to remember the dry gardens and his lost lands and find perforated stones that no human could find except him. The fruit of the planted stone is on display.
According to this report, the rock garden is one of the attractions of Kerman province and the city of Sirjan.
Finally, Darwish Khan Esfandiarpour, the owner and creator of the rock garden, died at the age of eighty-three on April 18, 2007, and his body was buried in that garden.
