Increase in mining revenue in Chaharmahal & Bakhtiari
Chaharmahal & Bakhtiari Organization of Mines and Minerals Deputy Head of Mines and Minerals: Mining revenue in Chaharmahal & Bakhtiari increased by 35%.
Mehrdad Ghasemi Dastgerdi at the Chaharmahal & Bakhtiari Mines Council reported that mines in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari had increased by 35%, according to the International Stone Exhibition of Iran: Seven mines were activated at the provincial level.
Chaharmahal & Bakhtiari Deputy Director of Mines and Minerals said: "With the activation of these mines, forty-three jobs were created in the province.
He emphasized: Currently there are 1,155 mines in the province.
Chaharmahal va Bakhtiari Deputy Chief of Mines and Minerals Industry, Mining and Trade Organization added: Extracted minerals in addition to construction industry in steel, smelting, aluminum, refractory and abrasive industries, gypsum, sand, cement and brick making Shamuti are of particular use.
He continued: Carcass stone, lithofacies, silica, gypsum, refractory soil, decorative stones and cement raw materials are among the minerals extracted from the province's mines.
