Deputy Minister of Mines and Minerals Minister of Industry, Mining and Commerce: All provinces of the country are covered by the resuscitation, activation and development of small scale mines up to four hundred thousand years.

According to Iran's International Stone Exhibition, Jafar Sarkhini, referring to the twelve provinces that were covered by the project this year, said: "According to the plan, fifty small mines in the country should be restored by the end of this year. It's great.

He added: "The real number of jobs we can not announce with the revival of these fifty mines, but if we employ fifteen people in each mine, we will see employment for seven hundred and fifty people."

Deputy Minister of Mines and Minerals, Minister of Industry, Mining and Trade, pointing out that all provinces of the country will be covered by this plan by the year, adding: Even in Kurdistan province there are also mines that need to be revived.

“The big mines have their place, producing raw materials for the industry and boosting exports,” said Sarkhini.

He pointed to the importance of small scale mines and said: "The importance of small mines is no less important than large mines because they can be created especially in remote areas."

Deputy Minister of Mines and Minerals Minister of Industry, Mining and Commerce emphasized: In order to take advantage of this advantage of small mines, their plan of revitalization was put forward which has been well implemented so far.

Thirteen anomalies were discovered in two Kurdistan exploration zones

"Every big mine we have today is the result of discoveries made in past decades, so now we have to discover reserves for decades to come, so that the problem of raw material supply is not met," he said.

Deputy Minister of Mines and Minerals Minister of Industry, Mining and Trade added: In Kurdistan, four zones were defined, in two zones thirteen anomaly was discovered and at least half of them were converted into mines.

"We hope to have four, five large and medium-sized mines in the province," he added.

"We do not determine the capacity of the mines, but the amount of reserves in the first phase, and the operator and market in the next stages," he said.

Deputy Minister of Mines and Minerals Minister of Industry, Mining and Commerce added: "The officials are never offered the capacity of the mines but declares the operator to be in line with the numerical mine reserve."

If the number announced by the operator closes other mines in the requested area, it will not agree to it, Saraqini added.

He noted: For example, if a Barite mine is found in an area with large reserves capable of extracting 1 million tonnes, it would undoubtedly agree to close all the small mines in the area.

Deputy Minister of Mines and Minerals Minister of Industry, Mining and Trade emphasized: Therefore, the operators do not announce high figures for the extraction capacity to be accepted.

Noting that conditions have been set for changing the capacity of the mines, Sarqini said, "Any operator can obtain a permit by declaring their capacity increase within three days to one month."
