Three policies of the Minister of Industry to the Council of Deputies
Minister of Industry: In all trade and economic relations with countries around Iran, including Uzbekistan, we must work on all areas and capacities of joint cooperation.
Reza Rahmani said: The promising statements of the Supreme Leader on the occasion of November 13th, regarding the Ministry of Solidarity's voluntary action to solve the problems of the industrial units, have another prominent aspect that requires serious action by all. Ministry officials are pursuing unit closures ahead of closures.
He continued: Today, it is necessary to take into account the decisions of each of the industrial and production units of the country in order to make all the effective factors in this field responsible for the country.
Rahmani noted: We must follow the supreme leader's assertion by carefully observing the problems of the problematic units and taking appropriate action to prevent them from being closed.
He added: "All the staff and provincial managers of the Ministry of Health should be at the top of the country in this regard and pursue cases and remove barriers as far as possible before any unit becomes in serious trouble."
Necessity of activating joint capacities for cooperation with Uzbekistan
In another part of his remarks, Minister Semat referred to the meeting of the Joint Commission on Cooperation of Iran and Uzbekistan on December 20th of this year. Make exhibitions of high quality products on their agenda.
Rahmani added: "In trade and economic relations with countries around Iran, including Uzbekistan, we must work on all areas and capacities of joint cooperation."
Filling the capacity of the country's production units with export expansion
Referring to his recent visit to China and attending the Shanghai Import Exhibition, he stated: According to the existing statistics, China imported more than two and a half billion dollars worth of goods last year, Iran's contribution to supplying these items. It is a very small commodity and we should be able to devote ourselves a fair share of this huge export market to the existing fields.
"Export markets need clever planning and precise targeting, and we must work on developing and expanding the quality and quantity of our export commodities to suit the needs of export destination countries," he added.
Rahmani pointed out: Due to some export opportunities we can easily fill the empty capacities of the country's production units, which requires special attention, accurate information acquisition and fully functional planning.
