Deputy Head of Mines and Minerals Organization of Chaharmahal & Bakhtiari Organization of Mines and Commerce: In the first half of this year, three new mineral discoveries in the form of ornamental stone were approved and registered in the province.

According to Iran's International Stone Exhibition, Mehrdad Ghasemi announced the triple exploration of mines in the first half of this year compared to the same period last year.

According to him, four exploration licenses have been issued since the beginning of this year, with a certificate of discovery with a definite reserve tonnage of one hundred and twenty-nine thousand tons.

He said issuing a new exploitation license with a nominal extraction capacity of forty thousand tons and employing six people from other mines activated in the first six months, said: "With the activation of these mines will be a transformation in the province's mines.

The deputy head of the Mines and Minerals Organization of the Chaharmahal & Bakhtiari Industrial, Mining and Trade Organization stated: Last year, seven semi-active and stagnant mines were activated in the province, which produced 1.5 million tons of ore.

He emphasized: With the activation of these seven inactive mines, forty-three new jobs have been created.

Chaharmahal & Bakhtiari Deputy Head of Mines and Minerals Department of Mines and Commerce emphasized: New mines are in production phase in the limestone and carcass extraction sector in the cities of Lordegan, Koohrang, Borujen, Ben, Farsan and Kiar Is.

He added that the annual revenue of the province's mining sector has increased by 30% compared to the previous government.

Qassemi estimated the government's annual revenue from the province's mining sector to be seven billion and five hundred million riyals, adding that the amount of hope and hope in the government has exceeded twelve billion riyals.

Qasemi said carcass, rock, silica, gypsum, asbestos, ornamental stones and cement raw materials are from active mining products and said that on average about 5 million tons of minerals are extracted from active mines each year.

According to the report, one hundred and eighty-six mines with six hundred and seventy-one billion riyals of investment are active in the province, which has created employment for about one thousand five hundred and thirty-three people.
