Minister of Industry, Mining and Trade, at a meeting of the ministry's deputy council, said: "The country's import statistics are declining and this is the main direction of the Ministry of Trade in this field."

According to Iran Stone Exhibition, Reza Rahmani said: At the end of the year, we had an average of two and a half percent decline in imports, which was more than one percent in consumer goods and more than 16 percent in intermediate and capital goods.

"This policy will continue as a general approach aimed at boosting domestic production," he continued.

Steel exports rose 1.5 million tonnes in the first six months of this year

In another part of his speech, Rahmani pointed to the export restrictions imposed by the ministry on the export of mineral raw materials: Today, the completion of the production chain of various industries such as copper, steel, aluminum, etc., is aimed at creating added value. Most of the production is on the special agenda of the Ministry of Health.

He said: Within the framework of the same program in the first six months of this year we had more than six million tons of steel exports, which increased by more than one and a half million tons compared to the same period last year.

The Minister of Industry, Mining and Commerce said: "Strategic goods also meet domestic demand and price stability, in line with export development policies, and we will be careful to ensure that these two priorities do not balance."

Rahmani added: Safeguarding the interests of the people is the core approach of the Ministry of Health in all decision-making processes and in all cases, obtaining and applying the maximum expertise of private sector organizations is a fundamental and unchanging principle in the ministry.

Mineral development in different parts of the country requires the necessary infrastructure

He pointed to the extensive efforts of the Ministry of Industry, Mining and Commerce in the field of mines, noting that the development of mines after exploration requires the necessary infrastructure to be expected, and that we expect the responsible agencies to be more mobile in the past.

"One of the sectors that could be a good substitute for the oil economy is the mines and the mining industry, which I hope will go a step further in providing the necessary infrastructure," he added.

Rahmani stressed: The supreme leader has repeatedly emphasized the importance of production and its prosperity, so it is expected that all sectors, including banks, service providers, social security, taxation, stock exchange, etc. Pay special attention to their menu, be more productive and productive with the country's production and industry.
