Yavarsang Golpayegan Company CEO: The name of the stone extracted from the mine is "Royal Marble Rose" and starts at 200,000 Tomans and goes up to 600,000 Tomans.
Hossein Yavari, CEO of Yavarsang Golpayegan Company, in an exclusive interview with the International Stone Exhibition of Iran stated: The stones in the mines of Golpayegan town are mostly Chinese and crystal and travertine is very low in this area. White silkscreen and jigsaw crystals are one of the most famous stones in Golpayegan.
He added: "Our mine near the city of Meymeh in Isfahan and its name is the Red Marble Pool Mine. The name of the stone extracted from the mine is "Royal Marble Rose", priced at two hundred thousand tomans and rising to six hundred thousand tomans.
He said: "The mine has been inactive since the time of the extraction with gunpowder and we have just purchased it at auction." Our main problems in the mining sector are the lack of equipment and the high cost. The machines required in the mine are not domestically produced, but we have many difficulties importing them.
"The stone is processed at the factory we set up in Golpayegan," he continued. This stone cuts from 30,000 Tomans to 150,000 Tomans; we are the only factory in the west of the country with a complete slab line.
