The need for more international businessmen to attend the Iranian Stone Exhibition
Director of Yazd Export Consortium: Iran Stone Exhibition is held at a very good level, but many more businessmen and businessmen need to be present.
Ehsan Mostafaeian, CEO of Yazd Province Export Consortium in an exclusive interview with Iran Stone Exhibition stated: It has been in operation for almost four years and is the only consortium that still operates with strength. Yazd province's exports have increased year by year, as planned by the consortium.
He added: "Six factories and twelve mines are part of the consortium because of the unity we have in supplying the required stones for export.
"We have exported processed stones to Yazd province to Armenia, Georgia, Oman, Kazakhstan, Russia and Iraq so far," he said. Our most important plan for the future is to have a stronger presence in international fairs and to increase exports.
He said: Money laundering, tolls, shipping and expensive raw materials are the most important export problems that many of these problems have to be resolved by the government and the private sector is unable to solve them.
He stated: According to our plans we are planning to activate e-commerce in stone industry in Yazd province. About 50 percent of the world's business is done online, but the Iranian stone industry has benefited very little from the technology and this weakness needs to be remedied.
He noted: Iranian stone exhibition is held at a very good level, but it is necessary to have more businessmen and merchants in this exhibition.
