According to the report, the mining and downstream industries are the focus of West Azerbaijan's development, but the province's stone mines face numerous problems such as crude sales and a lack of markets.
Providing low-interest bank facilities for working capital as well as modernizing mining machinery are essential to improve the province's mining performance.
West Azerbaijan is in a good position in the field of mineral resources, but it still has a long way to go before it can exploit the capacity of the mining and mining industries optimally.
The West Azerbaijan area is covered by three zones of the country's twenty systematic exploration zones, including 'Ashnoyeh-Khoy', 'Marivan-Mahabad' and Shahin-fortress-Mahnashan.
