Hojatoleslam Abbas Daneshi, Director General of Islamic Culture and Guidance in Markazi Province, visited the 12th Iranian Stone Exhibition and the stone statue of the exhibition and met with Ms. Farzaneh Asadi. This is a very valuable work done by the International Stone Exhibition of Iran this year.
He added: "I hope this movement continues and 15 to 20 artists will be present at the exhibition next year." In this regard, the culture and guidance of the Central Province will do whatever it can to help.
"The more interaction we get between industry and the arts, the better we get," he said. "Some countries have the same income as their stone industry and what's happening in factories in the sculpture sector. We've grown a lot. Unfortunately, we've done a little bit of work in this area and this has to be compensated.
He continued: Most of the stone artworks created by our ancestors in the past are still there and are in the interest of enthusiasts. The efforts made by the beloved Islamic Iranian people made use of this fine art.
He noted: Sculpture art is one of the arts that can be used to attract tourism. One of the most important attractions of some countries in the world is the huge sculptures in these countries where tourists take pictures of these stone statues and get to know parts of the history of the land.
He said: "If there were a hundred stone statues at the International Stone Exhibition of Iran, there would have been a lot more enthusiasts.
