Central Governor: Hepco Sends Consortium of Mining Activists and Associations
The provincial governor referred to the transfer of Hepco said: "This industry belongs to the country and it is planned to transfer this large production unit to a consortium of ore mining activists and associations that are in the process of negotiation and follow-up."
According to Iran Stone Exhibition, Seyyed Ali Aghazadeh announced this afternoon at the inauguration ceremony of the International Stone Exhibition of Iran: There are three hundred stone factories in Mahalat city, which unfortunately more than half of them are closed. Another reason for the lack of attention and mismanagement in the effective export activity of manufactured products is not to be overlooked.
He emphasized that all economic operators should pay special attention to export, export facilitation and marketing, and that export should target all countries to offset the shortfall in processed and crude revenues.
"Iran has high reserves of rock, but so far we have not been able to reach its true share and position, and the government is in the private sector," said a senior government official in the province.
Aghazadeh said that the Mines Council has been activated in the provinces, adding: "We can make the most of our powers to improve the status of the stone."
He pointed out: Central province, especially Mahalat and Nimour, is unique in terms of stone mines, especially travertine and has a worldwide reputation and is also a prominent city in the field of flower and vegetable production and ornamental fish.
The provincial governor also referred to the transfer of Hepco Company: "This industry belongs to the country and it is planned to transfer this large production unit to a consortium of ore mining activists and associations which is under negotiation and follow-up."
Aghazadeh, referring to the processing of unemployment statistics in Iran this summer, said that the unemployment rate in the central province this year was 8 and 3 percent, while the same as last year was 9 percent. Statistics show that the province's performance has been good in reducing unemployment.
He added that last year fifty-nine production units in the province had arrears, which this year dropped to forty-three units, equivalent to thirty-three percent.
The provincial governor emphasized: "The problems of the industrial units are the concern of the authorities and the current problems of these two production units are due to the lack of product management."
Aghazadeh stressed: Azarab can bypass sanctions against Iran, especially in the petrochemical, power, oil and refinery industries, and meet most of the country's heavy equipment needs, but due to the negligence and negligence of shareholders, we are experiencing these problems.
He noted that all the authorities in the province are trying to solve all the problems of these large production units with full capacity.
