West Azerbaijan Governor: Mines in this province must be assigned to qualified and qualified people and this should be a priority for the relevant authorities.

According to Iran Stone Exhibition, Mohammad Mehdi Shahriari said at the 6th meeting of the Mines Council of West Azerbaijan: "The selection of experts in the field of mining will make the existing problems in the mines less.

He also added that if natural resources are mined, there will be less damage to natural resources and the environment.

"Some problems in this area do not require much credit," he said.

The West Azerbaijani governor emphasized that the authorities should act as soon as possible to activate the small scale mining project.

At this meeting, the instructions for the formation of the Provincial Working Group and the Small Scale Mining Plan were presented by Vajihullah Jafari, the Executive Director of Impasco, as well as Seyed Reza Azimi, the Secretary of the Coordination Council for the Resettlement, Activation and Development of Small Scale Mines, which was established by the order of the Governor of West Azerbaijan. It is time to start working in the province.

The Small Scale Mining Recovery and Activation Project is one of the Resistance Economics Plans that has been transferred to Imidro by the Ministry of Industry, Mining and Commerce and by Imidro to the Iranian Mining and Production Company (Impasco) as the executive arm.

Mining and downstream industries are central to the development of West Azerbaijan, but the province's stone mines face numerous problems, such as crude and lack of markets.

Providing low-interest bank facilities for working capital as well as modernizing mining machinery are essential to improve the province's mining performance.

West Azerbaijan is in a good position in the field of mineral reserves, but it still has a long way to go to exploit the capacity of the mining and mining industries.

West Azerbaijan is covered by three zones of the country's twenty systematic exploration zones, including "Ashnoye-Khoy", "Marivan-Mahabad" and "Shahin Dez-Mahnashan".
