Attendance of 450 Minerals at the 12th Exhibition
Head of Industry, Mining and Trade Neighborhoods: 400Domestic and Foreign Companies, 50 Minerals and Foreign Trade Advisor prepared to participate in the 12th International Stone Exhibition of Iran.
Reza Maleki, head of Mahalat city's industry, mining and trade department, said: "The International Stone Industry Exhibition of Iran will be held from October 8-11 at the permanent site of Iran Stone Exhibition located in Neymar.
He stated that the presence of Iranian businessmen and businessmen from South Africa, Algeria, Turkmenistan, Russia, Afghanistan and Vietnam has been decided and necessary measures are being taken by the Iranian Trade Development Organization to participate in the exhibition and familiarize itself with mineral capabilities.
The head of Mahalat's industry, mining and commerce department said: "There have been numerous meetings to coordinate the presence of reputable foreign exhibition officials from India, Turkey, Italy and China and the presence of international magazines and newspapers.
Maleki reiterated: holding the second stone table in the country with the participation of mining elite and stone industry lecturers with the aim of export promotion on the third day of the exhibition and holding specialized and educational seminars with the participation of experts is another program of the 12th International Stone Exhibition.
Head of Mahalat Industry, Mining and Commerce Department added: To introduce the processed products of Iranian stone units is an exhibition in the area of ninety thousand square meters, which is more than twenty thousand square meters and the rest is open.
Maleki added: Outdoor exhibition of the two hundred ore mines around 20,000 tons of rock are exhibited.
He added: "The most important priority in this exhibition is to try to increase Iran's stone exports. Although the performance of the Iranian stone industry in the field of production and processing is defensible, there is a poor performance in export.
Iran's International Decorative Stone Exhibition is located ten kilometers from Mahallat Road to Nimvar city in an area of ninety thousand square meters. There are seventy active stone mines in Mahallat city with a definite mineral reserve of thirty million tons.
Two million tonnes of ornamental raw material are extracted annually from these mines, and more than two percent of the world's building stone and eight percent of the world's travertine are consumed in production sites and in domestic and foreign markets.
Two hundred and eighty eighteen million square meters of processing units operate in the neighborhoods, which account for thirteen percent of the country's production.
