Iran's International Stone Industry Exhibition, held annually in the suburb of Mahalat, in the central province of Mahallat, is a specialized hub for presenting the industry's achievements and the opportunity to grow decorative stone products, but it faces serious challenges.

According to the Iranian Stone Exhibition, the Iranian Stone Exhibition has been launched with the efforts of the country's private sector and has been supported by a range of government agencies and officials, but there are problems that need to be addressed.

Not allocating 30 acres of land, failing to meet the 10 percent grants promise, uncertainty about the exhibition's development and gas projects is one of the obstacles and challenges in the way of this international capacity and has involved opportunities for cross-border development of the stone industry.

Due to its proprietary nature, the Iranian Stone Exhibition in Shahr-e Nimr has the important advantage that exhibitors can set up a durable and modern booth and use it for several years, given the economic problems faced by manufacturing units. This is a great advantage because it greatly reduces the cost of having the production units on display.

In the eleventh government trip to the central province and in the Export Development Working Group, the allocation of thirty hectares of land was approved as the Unity Solutions Exhibition Company, which in the first phase, was given 15 hectares of land and the rest must be approved. Step Two Deliver the Delivery.

Hossein Pourhosseini added: Fifteen hectares of the first phase have been transferred and a 4,000-meter hall has been built and includes office building, exhibition hall and outdoor showroom preparation, green space, landscaping, parking, plating, electricity and lighting in the same year. First with the available space, the exhibition was held.

He said: With the internationalization of the Nemur Stone Exhibition last year, the final design of the exhibition was prepared with twenty-two thousand meters of indoor hall.

The chairman of the board of directors of the International Stone Exhibition of Iran said: By law, 10% of the costs of the exhibition were to be donated to the exhibition center.

Pourhassani added: "To develop the exhibition, there are many development plans, such as increasing the number of exhibition halls and exhibit area and restaurant facilities, completing the second office building, building a standard conference hall and a conference hall, and meetings are on the agenda of the exhibition's board if allocated." This figure can be implemented in the order of priority, according to the Board of Directors.

He added: "All the expenses in this exhibition are done by the private sector and by selling stocks, despite the continued inflation of these activities with multiple equity funds and the available capital is not enough to continue working.

The head of the International Stone Exhibition Board of Iran said: "The growth and development of the exhibition and welcoming visitors is such that construction and amenities can not be stopped and government approvals are needed as soon as possible."

Director of Iran International Stone Exhibition said: According to the resolutions, 30 hectares of land is to be transferred to the exhibition, but the transfer has not yet been carried out and the relevant institutions have not yet realized this important issue despite the approval of the resolution and the master plan.

Behnam Nikfar said: "According to the plan, it is hoped that this transfer will be completed sooner so that the development and welfare work of this exhibition can be completed at a higher and more rapid rate."

He said: The construction and development activities of the exhibition are financed by the sale of shares to the private sector and the private sector has been delayed in purchasing shares due to uncertainty over the pledge of land.

Managing director of Iran International Stone Exhibition continued: Despite repeated emphasis by the Supreme Leader on the "production boom" of some things, progress is still being made and it is expected that the implementation of these approvals will be taken more seriously.

A member of the board of directors of the International Stone Exhibition of Iran also said that one of the major problems of this exhibition unit is the lack of access to gas.

Reza Tavakoli added: "During the four days of the exhibition there are many visitors and the restaurant is serving its guests from 12:00 to 16:00 but due to the lack of gas the restaurant staff are suffering a lot.

He added: The gas department, considering the total area of the 30-hectare exhibition area, has demanded a large amount of money to build the infrastructure, which is out of reach.

The International Stone Exhibition Board member pointed out other problems: it is necessary to build a subterranean passageway in order for heavy machinery and other vehicles to be able to easily access this exhibition and the industrial town of Qalavar.

Tavakoli explained: Due to the lack of this crossing, some heavy machinery and trailers cross the highway one-way to shorten their route, which is not an accident and could result in casualties.

Reza Maleki, head of the Mahalat city's industry, mining and commerce department, said: "By following up on the officials, the Trade Promotion Organization has promised that the exhibition will benefit from grants that have not been implemented due to limited government funding so far. Especially continues.

He added: Other problems in the exhibition, including gas supply and development plans, are being seriously pursued by provincial officials to remove obstacles to the international fair.
