Provide legal frameworks for dealing with stone speculators
Member of Miners Association of Markazi Province: Provide legal framework for dealing with stone speculators in Mahallat city and this should be taken seriously.
According to the International Stone Exhibition of Iran, Mustafa Esfandiari, referring to the stone market in the country, stated: In the past few years, with the construction of Mehr housing, the demand for building stone has increased and the domestic stone market has prospered.
He added: The boom in the domestic stone market has driven speculators into the field and raised the price of the stone. In this regard, the stone speculators bought the copper from the mine and sold it to the factory owners with high profits.
A member of the Central Provincial Miners' Association stated: Many miners refuse to sell stone to speculators and prefer to sell the stone directly to the factory owners, which will greatly hinder price growth.
Esfandiari noted that due to the lack of proper treatment with their power brokers, they have been increasing day by day and some have become so bold as to threaten miners.
He said one of the ways to deal with dealers is to take action by the government and said: "The authorities can use the tactics they have in place to provide the platforms to deal with this ominous phenomenon and by adopting laws and taxation from the dealers rooted in this problem."
A member of the Central Provincial Miners' Association said: Miners can also reduce their presence in the mine by some means and miners must give traders a price that they are not able to buy, so the best way to sell the stone for negotiation Direct with the factory owner.
Esfandiari continued: "Unfortunately, some young people get into the brokerage business with the desire to get rich and want to make a lot of money in a short time. In some cases, the stone purchased from the mine is sold twice to the factory owners, which is really unfair." .
He said the exhibition is a necessity for the stone industry and said: "A permanent exhibition can supply the stone directly and provide the basis for proper pricing of the stone. This will greatly hinder the price increase."
A member of the Miners' Association of Markazi Province stated: We have done very poorly in the field of advertising and have not been able to properly understand the stone's capacities in the region. To gain global markets it is necessary to have its stone in both domestic and foreign media. To advertise.
Esfandiari pointed out: Iranian stone is the most diverse stone in the world and can be advertised as a choice for foreign buyers to buy stone from Iran.
