Secretary of Iranian Stone Association: In the matter of decorative stones, our country has thirty million tonnes of production capacity per year, which is now operating at one third of the capacity of nearly ten million tonnes, which has led to the closure of many quarries To do their job.

According to Iran Stone Exhibition, Ahmad Sharifi, secretary general of the National Iranian Association of Stone, about raw materials and the need for modernization of machinery for standard processing in the industry, said: Raw materials is a seemingly revolutionary slogan that if we come to it Let us turn this slogan back to another conclusion.

He continued: "In the matter of decorative stones, our country has thirty million tons of production capacity a year, and now we are working with one third of the capacity, that is, about ten million tons, and this has led to many businesses having to close their businesses. Be themselves. Now, with this situation, the problem of crude oil sales makes no sense at all, and to raise it is a completely unprofessional and slogan issue, which in turn will reduce the employment and closure of the remaining units.

Sharifi said: "We as a professional association strongly disagree with this issue and are willing to prove, for scientific and logical reasons, that restricting sales and exports on the pretext of selling will cause irreparable blows to this industry."

In response to the question of the secretary of the Iranian Stone Association, because of the inability to postpone the discussion, it should be continued for sale. We have a capacity of one hundred and eighty million meters of stone processing a year, which is now only seventy million, or thirty-five percent, of which 12 million are exported.

He added: Iraq's main export market for stone processing is eight million square meters annually, which unfortunately has a surplus value that has nothing but negative value. Due to the lack of liquidity, negative competition and the presence of speculators, we are witnessing the export of processed stone just to keep the factory lights on.

The ministry should, as the supreme authority in this field, direct the discussion of processed stone exports and instead of screaming that raw selling should not take place and that the problem of liquidity, refunds, renovation of equipment and removal of dealers should be avoided. To start. We have 4,500 processing units in the country, with 300 units of standard machinery.

Sharifi noted: The government should support this process by organizing specialized exhibitions in East Asian countries and establishing export consortia, subsidies and financial assistance for companies participating in international exhibitions. Like Turkey, which pays the government 70% of the cost of attending international fairs. These are practical ways of preventing crude sales, not overnight decisions and limiting crop sales, which will have only a negative impact on the industry.
