The recession has been unprecedented for the last forty years
Stone Age Activist: With the advent of technology and the Internet, we hoped to reduce traffic to offices, but this has not yet happened in many areas and we have to go to offices repeatedly to do our jobs.
According to the International Stone Exhibition of Iran, mining industry activist Ali Mirzakhani described the current economic situation in the stone and construction industry in Iran. The market has not experienced so much stagnation and inactivity so far. Currently, the construction industry, which is directly related to the stone industry, is half closed, and this has spread to stone craftsmen and activists.
He pointed to the direct and indirect connection of the three hundred and eighty types of jobs with the construction industry: The government can stagnate the construction industry with long-term and short-term plans. The most important principle here is to control inflation and keep the market calm. Inflation control can give people the opportunity to plan for the future and to have a home, without taking the opportunity to take any action and plan from people.
Criticizing the bureaucracy that governed some government departments, he said: "With the advent of technology and the Internet and other ways of communication we hoped that traffic would be reduced to offices and that these communications tools would help us be able to do our jobs very quickly." We have done more than before, but that has not happened in many areas yet, and we still have to go to the offices repeatedly to do our business. I have been traveling to various departments for about twenty-three months to pursue mine work.
He described the weakness of some rules and the short life span of the rules as a current problem for the mining industry, adding: "Managing change has its benefits as well. One of the disadvantages of these changes is that the new manager cancels some of the previous manager's instructions. And the client has to do some things again which is very time consuming. New orders issued in the form of a law or directive are in some cases not long-lived and change very quickly. Lawmakers need to be more thoroughly enacted.
"Today, the science of management in the world speaks first, and all developed countries rely on it to progress one step at a time," Manganar said. Unfortunately, in our country, we do not pay enough attention to this science and have not invested properly in developing competent and efficient managers. There are many talents in the mining and stone industry in our country, which must be directed to a specific direction with strong management. Talent is wasted if management is not strong.
He found the international fairs for the stone industry very useful and emphasized: Our exhibitions can pursue management debate seriously and encourage qualified managers to pave the way for good managers. Utilizing the experiences of industry executives from other countries is one of the best things to do at the fair.
