The head of the Mahalat mining and commerce department: If a country does not become a member of the World Trade Organization, it will not be able to compete successfully and export successfully to world markets.

According to Iran's International Stone Exhibition, Hassan Salimi said: "There are no restrictions on the export of processed stone, and the government and the law fully support the export debate, though there are restrictions on exporting the stone crop to prevent it." It's raw.

Referring to the problems of some miners in the production of industrial machinery, he added: "The Trade and Development Organization in Tehran is in charge of imports and the miners and manufacturers can submit their requests to the organization." Many industrial machinery and tools related to the stone industry are produced in Iran and are of high quality, some of which are not imported from Iran.

He added: "To eliminate intermediaries and eliminate speculators, the Trade and Development Organization has made it possible for stone industry activists to import without taking into account the needs of their plants and mines."

On the role of sanctions in the Iranian economy, he said: "The sanctions have greatly damaged the industries in Mahallat. In Mahallat and Nimur County, the three floriculture, tricot, and stone industries are being seriously followed by sanctions that have hurt all three industries.

"The sanctions forced our craftsmen to buy some of their raw materials and machinery through other countries," he said. There were also problems with the sale, and the craftsmen had to sell their goods directly to other countries, which reduced their profits.

He said that with the imposition of banking sanctions and the lack of money transfers from other countries, many industrialists abandoned the export issue in general and preferred to no longer operate in this area because there was no security provided for their capital.

Referring to the agreement between Iran and the P5 + 1 countries, he said: The agreement between Iran and the P5 + 1 countries has made our craftsmen get out of despair and look to the future with more hope, of course. Work has not yet begun, but hope and hope have increased.

He added: "The world economy and trade situation has gone so far that if a WTO member country, which is responsible for the free trade and full mobility of goods and services worldwide, does not actually be able to compete successfully and export successfully. There will be no global markets.

He noted: Some experts believe that joining the WTO will lead to the disappearance of many emerging industries and have wide negative consequences for our country, but we can rely on the experiences of other countries and The use of economic experts eliminated these barriers and entered the WTO so that our craftsmen would be harmed the least.
