According to the head of the Mining Commission of the Iranian Stone Association, ninety percent of excavators operate in old ways, which has hampered the desirable efficiency of the factories.

According to Iran's International Stone Exhibition, Aziz Mirzaeian said: Unofficial statistics show that Iran is always among the top five countries in the field of ornamental and facade stone production, but in the export sector, it is among the twenty countries.

The head of the Mining Commission of the Iranian Rock Association added: Out of the 6,600 excavation units in the country, about ten percent of them have up-to-date features.

He said: According to international standards, 16 to 17 meters per tonne of ornamental stone and facade should be produced, but traditional units of this section produce about five to seven meters per ton.

He said that the worn-out machinery of the country's stone crushing units is not capable of producing the standard, and thus the field of export markets will be lost.

Fifty percent waste of decorative stones and facade

Surveys show that more than fifty percent of the country's ornamental stone and façade turn into waste, and this requires planning and planning, as national funds are thus wasted.

He added: Stone units lacking up-to-date machinery and have a significant share of waste in this sector are pressurizing miners and claiming in the provincial, mining and trade departments that the stone miner is at their disposal. Don't give up.

According to the report, the Iranian Stone Association had earlier stated that the capacity of the country's stone mills amounted to one hundred and eighty million meters per year, of which about seventy million meters were produced, of which ten million were exported to targeted markets and sixty million. Million meters are used internally.

Government to aggregate stone units

The head of the Mining Commission of the Iranian Stone Association added: "Machinery burnout and the scattering of scouring units is an important issue that the government can organize to aggregate such units."

He explained: Iranian stone is recognized in the world markets for its quality and variety of colors, but due to the weakness of the machines and lack of proper marketing, it has not gained its share in the markets. Previous statistical reports indicate that the value of Iranian stone exports is $ 150 million to $ 400 million annually.

Requires standard production with the help of law tools

Mirzaiian, who holds the post of Director General at the Ministry of Mines and Metals of the Sixth Government, said: "The issue of changing the explosive method from ornamental mines to mechanized systems has been met by legal means and today the explosive method in this sector is outdated.

"If the 12th government is thinking about producing standard ornamental stone and facade, it is necessary to prevent non-standard production by using the tools of law and this has had its effect in the past," he said.

The neglected task of the fifth development plan

According to Mirzaeian, the provisions of the Fifth Development Plan of the country were to use a reserve fund for the import of new and up-to-date machinery in the ornamental and facade sector, but this was neglected over the years and the worn-out machinery continued to be used. They continue to operate.

He noted: Upgrading and upgrading the ornamental and facade machinery is a necessity, as we think of export markets and this has its difficulties.
