Hundreds of workers in central province waiting for currency allocation
Member of the Board of Directors of Neighborhood & Nursery Trade Union: Two production lines will be set up at the plant, each with a capacity of seven thousand and five hundred tons per year, which means that we will be able to produce fifteen per year. We have a thousand tons of paper production.
Hassan Ghahremani, a member of the board of directors of Mahal Sanghar and Neymar Stone Trade Union who is currently managing the stone sculpture unit in Mahalat, said in an exclusive interview with Iran's Stone News Agency: The project is expected to be completed in an area of thirty-five thousand square meters in three phases. The first phase is eleven thousand square meters with its infrastructure provided and the necessary huts constructed. Engineers and task forces are currently walling off the grounds and niches, which will soon be completed.
He continued: According to the planned plans, the plant will operate on a regular basis in three shifts, which will require 30 people for each shift. In total, there will be about 100 workers in the plant.
He added: "Two production lines will be set up at the plant, each of which has a capacity of seven thousand and five hundred tons per year, meaning that we will be able to produce fifteen thousand tons of paper per year."
Jahmani said: "It is obvious that we have to use bank facilities to set up this factory, but some city banks did not cooperate with us." They offered us a moderation or demanding enormous collateral to provide us with facilities that were out of our reach. Failure to cooperate with some banks within the city forced us to go to the banks of Tehran. Because this project was a national one, and very important, we were able to cooperate with it, but we still haven't got the required currency and we are waiting.
"We expect the authorities to remove the barriers to production," he continued. In the year that is named by the Supreme Leader in the name of the production boom, there should be no more hurdles for the manufacturer.
He added: "The unprecedented rise in the dollar has caused a lot of catastrophes for us as producers and sanctions have increased. In this situation, starting a business is very difficult and difficult if there were no dollar price fluctuations and this inflation we could have done it much faster and maybe the factory would have been set up by now.
He noted: There are several countries in the world that can offer this product line. Countries such as China, Taiwan, South Korea, France and Germany are experienced manufacturers of these devices. We intend to use European devices. Regarding the sanctions, we also have our own problems to transport these devices to Iran, but there are ways to circumvent the sanctions that we will certainly use.
In the end, he emphasized: "If we are given the necessary currency, we will soon transfer this production line to Iran and launch the factory with a hundred workforce."
