Arvine stone exports to Russia, Turkey and Iraq
Arvin Natanz Stone Industries CEO: The cost of attending international fairs is very high and the government needs to support the producers in this regard. The exhibition is the best place to increase exports.
Haidar Paknejad, CEO of Arvin Natanz Stone Industries Company, stated in an exclusive interview with Iran Stone News Agency: I started my activity in the field of granite in 2008.
"We are cooperating with Russia, Turkey, Iraq and Kazakhstan in the field of exports," he said. The effects of importing goods to Turkey, the presence of brokers, lack of quality in packaging and appearance of products and banking exchanges of Iran and other countries are the most important export problems.
He added: "The costs of attending international exhibitions are very high and it is necessary for the government to support producers in this field." Exhibition is the best place to increase exports.
Paknejad said: "Lack of marketing and lack of advertising in the Iranian stone industry is very obvious." In some cases, most consumers are looking for low-priced stones and do not pay attention to quality at all. It is necessary to create a culture in this field.
"Countries like Italy and Brazil have been able to achieve significant success by prioritizing exports, but we are still weak in exports and have not provided the necessary conditions to increase exports," he said.
Regarding the process of holding the Isfahan exhibition, Paknejad said: "Our domestic exhibitions can be international in the true sense of the word when the number of foreign booths and the number of international traders is high." If this happens and Iranian producers see that they can conclude sales contracts in these exhibitions, they will definitely attend these exhibitions willingly.
