CEO of Kavan Stone Company: The amount of stone waste in our country is much higher than the international standards, which makes the price of stone more expensive than other countries.

"We are cooperating with China, Turkey, Ukraine, Russia, United Arab Emirates, Oman and Kuwait in export in the near future," said Kavan Sang CEO Amir Shabanpour in an exclusive interview with Iran Stone News Agency. We will start Europeans.

"The international stone industry fairs are the best place to showcase new creations and innovations," he said. At international fairs, manufacturers are introduced to the latest and latest technologies in the world. International fairs are the best place to increase exports.

"Unfortunately, a significant portion of the crude ore is lost due to the wear and tear of equipment and machinery, and in some mines due to poor knowledge of extraction," said Kavan Stone. If the machinery is up to date and the miners improve their extraction methods, the production of fine stone in our mines will be doubled and the amount of fine rock will be reduced.

He said: The amount of stone waste in our country is much higher than the international standards, which makes the price of stone more expensive than other countries. If the amount of waste goes down, obviously the price of stone will be much lower.

He continued: Italy, Spain, China, India, Turkey and Brazil are Iran's main competitors in the stone industry. Almost none of these competitors have the diversity of Iranian rocks, but they are far ahead of us in export. We have done very poorly in the field of exports. Our main weakness in the field of export is the quality of processing, most of which is due to a lack of modern equipment and technologies, and partly due to the lack of processing knowledge of some processing plants.

One of the most important issues that threaten Iran's stone industry is the importation of processed stones, Shaabanpour said. Importing these stones due to their high profit margins can be a significant risk for Iranian producers, the high profits of these imports provide the necessary platforms to buy and sell these stones and face major problems for Iranian producers. Slow.

In the end, he said, since establishing a state-of-the-art industrial unit in the field of stone processing requires a lot of financial resources, we hope that the government will provide the necessary support for lending to producers, as well as the major problems that producers face in this industry. We expect cooperation and assistance from the government to supply raw materials, parts and equipment.
