Satrap Stone Managing Director: Banking problems, business environment problems and shortage of skilled labor are one of the biggest issues in Iran's stone industry. The government and parliament can consult with the private sector to make laws that manufacturers face less in both banking and legal matters in faster private courts.

Abdul Azim Golchin, Managing Director of Satrap Stone Factory, author of The Book of Throats and MBA lecturer in an exclusive interview with the Iranian Stone News Agency stated: “I entered Tehran Polytechnic University in 1347 and studied road and building. After studying, I worked at Civil Dose Construction Company. I have been in the construction industry for about forty-three years and in the stone industry for about twelve years.

He further said: Banking problems, business environment problems and shortage of expert staff are the biggest issues in Iran's stone industry. The government and parliament can consult with the private sector to make laws that manufacturers face less in both banking and legal matters in faster private courts.

"The shortage of skilled and trained workers and a lack of compliance with world standards is another problem in the industry," Anchor said. So far, most officials and entrepreneurs have focused on increasing production and unfortunately not working on marketing and export.

"Unfortunately, export facilitation is not yet a top business priority for the authorities," said Satrap. At the moment, exports are not done literally and what is done is sales, not rials. Export means bringing the product to the target market and selling our product with support and service. The sex and the product should be distributed in the target market and receive feedback.

"Many of the processed rocks in Iran do not meet the standards of the target countries," he said. Many of the machines in the factory are worn out. There are two important components to increasing exports: price and quality. Because our goods do not have the necessary quality, their price is competitively humiliating.

"The stone is a national commodity," said Managing Director of Satrap Plant. These trainings must come out of the universities and into the workplace.

"Some of our factories have focused on the quantity and volume of production and do not pay attention to quality and standard compliance," Anchor said. Unfortunately, we are still seeing new factories grow. Instead of increasing the plant, we need to equip the existing plants and establish R&D units to properly identify the target markets and then we can start exporting.

He added: The momentary and changeable laws are one of the most important export problems. Business is a long-term process that requires the stability of laws, with laws that are constantly changing to export. Variable laws cause mistrust and target markets prefer to buy their stones from countries with stable laws.
