Necessary to correct the extraction of ores from the mines
Managing Director of Amirkop Complex: One of the biggest problems in the Iranian stone industry is the extraction of mines. In this way the extraction rate of stone waste is very high and our valuable resources are wasted. The government should provide the miners with the necessary training in this regard to increase our productivity of the mines.
Amir Khodabandeh, CEO of Amirkop Collection, in an exclusive interview with the Iranian Stone News Agency stated: "I have started my activity in the field of stone industry since 2011. Providing marble stone for processing plants is one of our major activities.
He further said that the reserves and diversity of Iranian stone mines in the world is unique, but we have not yet grown enough in this industry. The most important reason for the lack of growth in the Iranian stone industry is that it has overshadowed marginal issues in exporting the stone, which has faced serious problems.
He continued: Participation in international fairs is effective if it is done consistently and sequentially. The exhibition is the best place to enter into a contract with international businessmen. By attending international fairs we can get acquainted with the latest technologies in the world. The presence of manufacturing companies in the fairs provides the platform for direct export, and the dealers are gradually eliminated.
Managing director Amircop added that an exhibition such as the Isfahan Stone Exhibition could be one of the most influential fairs of the country's stone industry if it invited international businessmen to pay more attention to increased exports. In the meantime, the government should subsidize and sponsor companies that participate in both domestic and foreign exhibitions.
He pointed out that one of the biggest problems in the Iranian stone industry is the extraction of mines. In this way, the extraction rate of the stone is very high and our valuable resources are wasted. The government should provide the miners with the necessary training in this regard to increase our productivity of the mines.
