Iranian Stone Exhibition Needs Research Institute of Mines

He continued: Faculty of Mining and Metallurgy Engineering Amirkabir University of Technology in 1973 as the Institute of Mining Engineering and with the admission of fifteen students in the trend of mining extraction began its educational activity.
He stated: The first master's degree in rock mechanics in 1992 and the first doctoral degree in mining engineering in Iran was launched by this faculty. Currently, the college admits one hundred and ten undergraduate students each year in four undergraduate courses and ninety undergraduate students in eight graduate programs.
He noted that through the Honorable People's Representative of Mahallat and Delijan in the Majlis, many efforts were made to establish a branch of Amirkabir University in Mahallat and Nimar, but the university's new policy was to have universities in cities. No longer have a branch.
He continued: Iranian stone exhibition can have positive and constructive interaction with the university in the discussion of research. The permanent location of the Institute of Mining Engineering at the exhibition can significantly facilitate the necessary interactions between academia and industry and help us in raising productivity.
He added: As you know, a person who is accepted as a student at Amir Kabir University has a rank below 1000 and is recognized as an elite in the society. In the case of interaction between the exhibition and the university, these elite stone educators can do their PhD thesis, which is of great value to both the university and the stone industry.
