PASGAMAN SAS PASGARAD Sales Manager: Iraqis are mostly looking for travertine and Chinese with different designs and roles. The tastes are different, but most of the bright, patterned stones are popular.
According to Iran International Stone Exhibition, Jalil Raouf, Sales Manager of Pishgaman Stone Pasargad Company, said: Pishgaman Pasargad Stone Company is the only Iranian company in the field of stone industry that was present at Baghdad Exhibition. The exhibition presents all the requirements of a country, from fittings to iron to food and sanitation as well as the stone and building industries.
He added: "Our goal at the Baghdad Exhibition is to identify the Iraqi stone market and its tastes regarding building stones." Consumption of building stones in Iraq has increased and it can be one of the most important export markets for Iranian stone.
He said: The services that the Chamber of Commerce had to offer regarding the company's presence at the Baghdad Exhibition were very poor and we did almost everything related to attending the Exhibition ourselves.
Jalil Raouf said: "The price difference between selling stone in Iran and Iraq is very high and in fact we sell stone in Iran at a very low price." Iraq is one of our most consumed and pristine stone markets that we can make good use of.
He noted: Iraqis are mostly looking for travertine and Chinese with different designs and roles. The tastes are different, but most of the bright, patterned stones are popular.
