Hajipour: Increasing exports is a top priority

Mohammad Reza Hajipour, head of the Central Province's Industry, Mining and Trade Organization, said in an exclusive interview with Iran's Stone News Agency: "The current situation and the exchange rate fluctuations and some economic problems in the country require us to make efforts. Do more to remove barriers and problems and further strengthen this sector by effectively and continuously communicating with the private sector.
He said: Mines and mining industries, especially stone industry is one of the most important economic capacities of Iran. Almost seven countries worldwide have been effective in the field of stone industry, and Iran is one of the seven countries with high capacities. This great capacity requires us to increase our efforts in this regard.
Hajipour said: Exhibitions such as the Iranian Stone Exhibition create very positive interactions between the miners and processing units and experts and representatives of similar exhibitions such as Turkey, India, China, Italy and Brazil and international businessmen. Such exhibitions are the most important means of getting the Iranian rock to the world.
He added: Production of export-oriented products in the field of stone industry is one of the most important priorities of the organization of industry, mine and trade. Stone exports should increase.
He added: Importing world-known and known mines of copper mines and their processing in Iranian factories is one of the solutions that can help increase the export of processed stones. To know the world and provide the necessary platforms for export of Iranian processed stones.
