Ninety percent of the stone industry's production lines are worn out
Experienced stone industry activist: Facilities pay craftsmen slowly and sometimes take up to six months or a year.
According to the International Stone Exhibition of Iran, the stone industry activist called the increase of sympathy between the government and the craftsmen a necessity of growth and development. According to the law, our miners are obliged to pay the sums each year under state law. These rights are usually granted in accordance with what is stated in the operating license, but sometimes there are problems for miners with very little exploitation of the mines and in some cases the miners are forced to wait a year. To spend with losses. Paying attention to the operation of a mine is essential to obtaining government rights.
Hamid Reza Yaghouti added: Government salaries are increasing year by year which can affect the price of finished stone and increase its price. If you do an expert work on this and set a specific, fair price for it, while still keeping an eye on the mine's performance over the course of a year and fix this price, it will greatly prevent inflation in this sector.
He considered stabilization necessary for the development of the stone industry, and noted: "By setting strict and rigorous laws and implementing them in the long term, we can create stability in this industry." The worst pest for artisans is laws that have a very short life span. In some cases, shifting managers will lead to the cancellation of some guidelines and new guidelines, which can be very detrimental. Daily laws cannot meet the needs of our industries.
The stone industry activist continued: Facilities for artisans are slow to pay and sometimes take up to six months or a year. In some cases, all the necessary follow-up to the facility is done and it takes six months or a year at a time, but eventually a new instruction is issued and the payment of the facility becomes difficult.
He added that the more the interaction between the government and the people connected with the stone industry, the better the output would be. At times, all the necessary permits are obtained from the department, but other prohibitions are prevented by reference to the law.
Referring to the irreversibility of rock and mineral resources, he said it was necessary to create the necessary platforms for the best use of these resources and said: "About ten percent of our production lines are up-to-date and efficient, and ninety percent are old and worn out, and losses. There is a lot of stone in them. Between 1991 and 1993, with the help of the government, very modern and well-equipped machines were introduced in the country, and by relying on these machines we were able to increase our productivity. If there is a field of production of industrial machines in the country which is very good, but if it is not possible to produce them, it is better to import them.
