Managing Director of Karbala Mines and Factories Group: Another activity we have just started is the construction of a cultural and commercial entertainment complex in Nimar. The complex comprises a large twelve-thousand-square-meter water park with a pool, bowling and billiards, a restaurant, a gym and a commercial office complex.

Abbas Karbala'i, a senior activist in the stone and mining industry, said in an exclusive interview with Iran's Stone News Agency: Currently, the most important problem for miners is the high cost of machinery and the lack of spare parts. Some mines have been closed because of these high costs and shortages. This has unfortunately affected the activity of the stone mills and has brought some factories to a close.

"We are cooperating with China in the field of stone exports, and we export the Chinese stone Oligodars and Atakosh Travertine," he said.

"For me, entrepreneurship and job creation is an important goal and a pleasure," he said. I really enjoy creating jobs and income for the youth of this region and this country. The best times for me are when I pay my staff salaries and I am very happy to see these young people earning money through the work I have put into trusting God.

"Our entrepreneurship is not just limited to the mining and quarrying industry," he continued. One of our activities is to set up a Heavy Machinery Tires Sales Office in Nimar City, founded by the Nima Store, which imports tire miners directly from India and China. Because of the direct supply, the prices of these tires are lower than at other department stores and so far the miners have been very welcomed.

He said: I have been involved in importing heavy machinery for about thirty years and importing machinery such as Komatsu and Caterpilla and other international brands. The office of this complex is located in Tehran's Azeri Road.

Abbas Karbala'i said: "Nima Hall" was founded in Nimar in 2011 and since then this complex has been successfully operating. It has also been several years since I started building the Arya Hotel with a 14,000 square foot facility at the entrance to Mahalat City, which will be launched in the next year.

He continued: Another activity we have just started is the construction of a cultural and business complex in Nimar. The complex comprises a large twelve-thousand-square-meter water park with a pool, bowling and billiards, a restaurant, a gym and a commercial office complex. The development project of this complex has begun and will be completed in about three years.

He said: "We were not indifferent to doing good in the region besides doing business and doing as much as we could." The construction of a school for Mehr Neighborhood Housing covers an area of 15,000 square meters and a boarding clinic of two and a half thousand square meters with some of the equipment provided. We are also committed to paying for a three-year night shift at Nimvir Clinic.

Karbala'i noted: Another of our activities is to set up Lushan Cement Factory in Gilan province. The plant was 100 percent bankrupt in 2013 when we bought it and took six months to reopen it. The plant is currently active and 60 people are working, with a further 100 more soon to be added.
