Head of Markazi Province Industry, Mining and Trade Organization: Markazi province has been selected as the country's designated stone province, according to the Ministry of Industry, Mining and Trade.
According to Iran's International Stone Exhibition, Mohammad Reza Hajipour said: "This choice was made due to the province's high capacity in the field of stone mines and the advantage of having an international stone exhibition in Mahalat city.
He stated: According to the policies of the Ministry of Industry, Mining and Commerce regarding the transfer of export affairs based on the relative advantages that exist in the economic sphere in different provinces, the export table is allocated to the provinces with economic advantages and is selected as the designated province of the country.
Hajipour pointed out that in the past, the central province had five pomegranate export tables, moisture insulation, ornamental flowers, aluminum and steel manufacturing industries and structures: Given the province's advantages in the field of stone, Especially in the district of Mahalat in the stone basin and over 60% of the stone travertine in the city there is the sixth export table in the stone basin belonged to the province and was selected as the province of the specified stone.
He said: Following the meetings of the State Stone Policy Council in the Central Province with follow-up, it was decided to separate the stone export table from some other provinces of the country that have the potential and advantage of the stone and assign it to the Central Province and finally this privilege. The province was ceded by follow-up.
The official emphasized: Having a stone export table in the country and choosing the central province as the designated province of the country will have the advantage for the province to do the policy work and planning for development of the country by the central province as the designated province of the country. We hope that with more effort and careful planning we will see the development of the stone industry in the Central Province.
He said: Central province due to the high advantages of agriculture, industrial, mining and ... is the only province in the country that now has six export tables.
