Mohammad Reza Bahraman, the head of the Iranian Mining House, was present at the eleventh meeting of the Central Province's Stone Industry Policy Council, which was held jointly with the Arak Chamber of Commerce Mining Commission. Mohammad Reza Hajipour, Mostafa Amrea, Mohsen Besarde, Behnam Nikfar, Abbas Ghanbari, Mohammad Halajian, Azizmirzaeian, Jafari, Gholami, Ahui, Hassan Hosseini, Aref Hamedi, Sharif Malek Darya, Abolfazl Esmaeili, Hossein P, Some of the members of the Arak-Tehran Chamber of Commerce Mining Committee and other central stone industry activists in Markazi province were also present.

The meeting was chaired by Mohsen Besaradeh Mining Deputy Director of Markazi Province Organization of Industry, Mine and Trade.

Increasing exports; Arak Chamber of Commerce Mining Commission's top priority

At the beginning of the meeting, Behnam Nikfar, Chairman of the Arak Chamber of Commerce Mining Commission, presented a report on the activities carried out in this commission. Meetings with the Central Province Stone Industry Policy Council.

He said: In order to achieve the desired result in the export of mineral products we try to take advantage of the presence and consultation of all the activists of the stone and mining industry, academics and experts in the field of commerce. In this regard, we held various meetings with different groups, associations and organizations.

He continued: "There are five specialized committees in this commission that work on what is a separate and fully specialized drum." One of the most important steps taken by this commission is to investigate and identify disturbing laws and report them to the responsible authorities to take the necessary steps to amend or remove these laws.

We need to amend some laws

Aziz Mirzaiian, secretary of the Central Province Stone Industry Policy Council, said: "Some of the laws in the field of mining contradict constitutional provisions and need to be amended." I hope that the MPs will be present in the Council and will be closely acquainted with the expert opinions on the mining industry.

Referring to Article Fifty-Two Mining Laws and Article 45 of the Sixth Development Plan, he stated: These are laws that need to be amended. We can thrive in the mining industry when we eliminate the legal conflicts that exist. Mining activities cannot be developed with the set of laws, some of which are in conflict with each other.

He added: "Mining authority is now vested in the High Council of Mines in the provinces, but if there is a problem for mines, according to the Minister of Industry, Mines and Commerce, it must be held accountable to parliament." The question is, how can the Minister be held accountable if the mines are vested with the Governor and the Supreme Council of Mines of the Provinces? We urge the honorable representatives to resolve this issue.

He added: "At present, VAT is levied on mines, while studies in no other country in the world do not receive VAT in this form, and this needs to be revised." In the same tax case, some laws are in complete conflict with one another, for example, a law that excludes mines from taxation for several years, but the VAT law states that all mines must pay tax at the outset.

Campaign for 500 active mines of Iranian stone industry

The Executive Director of the 11th International Stone Exhibition of Iran stated: Mr. Bahrami has been present at the opening ceremony of the International Stone Exhibition of Iran every year and we hope that this year as well as with the accompanying delegation, they will join this exhibition.

He added: "To introduce the Iranian ore more and more, we are planning to showcase the five hundred Iranian mines in the eleventh exhibition. To this end, we have launched a Campaign for Iran's Five hundred Export Mines, and we are striving to have all of these mines on display.

He stated: Officials of the International Stone Exhibition of Iran are present in most of the international exhibitions in the world and try to introduce the Iranian stone industry and its numerous capacities to all stone craftsmen in the world. One of the most important steps taken in this regard was the speech of Iranian stone industry activists at the Izmir International Stone Exhibition in Turkey, which was very well received.

He continued: The International Stone Exhibition of Iran intends to hold a conference with the presence of mining houses in Mahallat city in July this year and thus provide the necessary conditions for the presence of mines throughout the country in the exhibition. In this regard, we need the cooperation of the Iranian Mine House.

"One of the most important steps we can take to increase exports is to invite international merchants and businessmen," he said. The most important argument for doing this is in the best possible way, funding which we hope the Arak Chamber of Commerce will help us with.

We need a strong youth presence

Further, Mohammad Reza Hajipour, head of the Central Province's Industry, Mining and Trade Organization, said: "Central province has close cooperation between the private sector and the public sector, and the private sector is involved in many decisions. The Chamber of Commerce and the Central Province Stone Industry Policy Council are and will always be with us as two powerful arms of the private sector.

"One of the most important steps we can take to attract investment in Iranian mines is to reform the law," he said. Some laws need to be revised, which is a serious matter. Another point is to delegate powers to the private sector, part of which will be done and the rest will be done within the law.

"Holding training courses for stone and mining industry activists is one of the most important needs of the industry," he said. We also need talented and educated young people to enter our various industries and be entrusted with many things. The combination of young and motivated work with valuable experiences of older people will have excellent results.

Iran's mining house will support Iran's stone exhibition

محمد رضا بهرامن

Mohammad Reza Bahraman, head of Iran's mining house, said: "Our industry now needs exports more than anything. We should all strive to increase exports and move the country's industry to the point where the problem of unemployment is completely resolved.

He added: "There are many valuable discussions here today that demonstrate the ability of the country's private sector to analyze and evaluate problems." We need to use the private sector as much as we can, because by doing so and relying on these consultations, the error rate will be as low as possible.

He emphasized: Basically, organizations and associations have been set up to provide sympathetic and useful consultations to governments and decision makers, and in some cases to decision-makers rather than government officials. With the goodwill of many officials today, this is done and associations work together with government officials to solve problems.

"Many laws require reform," he continued. The issue of law reform has also been raised in Yazd, and it must be pursued seriously. In some cases, some government officials make decisions that are not expert decisions and require the private sector to make mistakes. In some cases, misinterpretations and interpretations of laws are also made, in which the role of the country's private sector is crucial.

"We need a roadmap for the development of the mining industry," he said. The mine roadmap is being developed and we will use the opinions of all experts in this regard. Dr. Shakouri, head of the Mining Committee of the Iranian Chamber of Commerce, is present at all the mining roadmap meetings; we must be by our side and empathize with the train.

He emphasized: Iran's mining house has always supported the International Stone Exhibition of Iran and will continue to support it in the future. A conference to be held in the neighborhoods for mining houses across the country is very good and we will support this conference with all our strength.
