Chairman of Arak Chamber of Commerce Industries and Mines: Ninety-five percent of the consumed goods of the country's stone mines and factories are imported and only five percent of the stone industry's facilities are supplied from the domestic market.

According to Iran's International Stone Exhibition, Behnam Nikfar, chairman of the Arak Chamber of Commerce's Industries and Mines Commission, said: "Resolving the institutional and organizational divisions this year is one of the priorities of the Arak Chamber of Commerce and the Central Province, which allows for greater engagement."

Nikfar reiterated: This year the Iranian Stone Exhibition in the form of an International Exhibition is on the agenda as it has to engage with the world and the world's major fairs in the field of stone and sign a cooperation memorandum, as well as trying to invite five hundred merchants in the stone field from We are in different parts of the world and the creation of facilities will be pursued through the Trade Promotion Organization and Settlement Company.
 
Pointing out that these international interactions are definitely effective in introducing Iran's stone capacity and global feedback, he added: "Unfortunately, despite many efforts and increased issuance of licenses in the field of ornamental stones, the active mines in this area range from about thirty to about eighty mines."
